All M.F ELAHI Instruments are Unconditionally Guaranteed against effect in material and workmanship.
Any instruments which proves to be defective for its intended surgical purpose, will be replaced or repaired without any cost, in case of misuse guarantee does not apply.
CARE & MAINTENANCE OF INSTRUMENTS
M.F ELAHI always manufactures Surgical Instruments according to established international patterns. These instruments must be used only for the intended surgical purpose by qualified surgeons or medical practicing students under supervision by experienced experts. Inappropriate use may result in damage of instruments.
PROCESSING AND REPROCESSING
Always read and follow the instructions of use and keep them for future reference for the products long life, reliability and better use.
Sterilize instruments before their use. After use, clean, lubricate and sterilize the instrument. A fully validated mechanical cleaning procedure should be used wherever possible. Instruments can be cleaned by ultrasonic treatment or a specifically designed detergent can also be used for cleaning in which surfaces must be in contact with the detergent, channels, lumen, inner cavities and openings. A soft plastic brush or a fluff free cloth may be used to assist manual cleaning. Rinse thoroughly, carefully and If possible use demineralized water for cleaning.
DRYING & LUBRICATION
Dry sufficiently after rinsing using a soft absorptive cloth and inaccessible parts dried with compressed air. Treat the instruments joints, ratchets, threads and any moving parts based on paraffin oil designed for the purpose. All instruments must be stored in dry, clean and protected environment when not in use.
STERILIZATION
All instruments must be subjected to a fully validated steam sterilization process after decontamination and before use. The sterilizer must conform to EN 285. The process must be validated in conformance with EN 554. A fractioned vacuum process required the following minimum parameters 5 minutes, 134°C and 2 bar pressure. When instruments are hot-air sterilized, the temperature should be 180°C and not exceed 200°C Corroded instruments should be discarded immediately and not be used.
